I got a (.) birthday party (.) to go to (.) tomorrow. um it's my (..) græb niece first birthday. and... [your grand niece's first birthday.] right. and I got a party to go to tomorrow night. um my friend is turning (.) fifty. [wow.] [week of birthdays for everyone huh?] yeah. [um can you tell me about a holiday that you've had?] [it could be recently.] [it could be from a while ago.] well um (.) easter was (..) uh... I served (..) three m- uh services x- at church. (.) and kɚtʃ [distorted?] took pictures and all kinds of stuff. [oh yeah yeah it was just easter.] oh yeah. [laughs] [are you a pastor?] no. no no. I do camera. [m: I see.] [do you like it?] oh yeah. (.) um (..) I can't do the (.) computer stuff. because my faculties aren't well. [but the cameras you feel pretty good about?] and I can't do the sound board. because it's too complicated. [laughs] [it's too complicated?] yeah. I do s- s:omewhat. [gestures] but I uh... [laughs] [shakes head] [how did you get started in doing camera work?] um (..) I had a gə- guy... [microphone made noise] I had a guy that I æ-... [microphone made noise] I had a guy x asked me if I wanted to (.) do camera and (.) the (..) uh (..) computer. we have... the computer generates it up on the screen. [gestures] (.) and we was doin' pɑd- powerpoint then. so I can do that easy. and that was before I had my stroke. so I did it all. I x- ran the sound board x- computer and (.) camera. so... [wow.] [was the camera your favorite part of it?] um (..) no I w:anted to do the (.) uh uh computer. but (.) that messed with my... when I had my stroke it messed with me. so I do tə- camera now.
