well donna and I took a trip in the fall to new york city. 
<we had> neither one of us had ever been there before.
it was kind of on our bucket list.
[aw.]
so <we> uh we took a week.
and we traveled there.  
and we had a nice little...
they call it boutique hotels. 
little (.) hotels... 
x smaller (.) than your run of the mill hotels and little off the beaten path. 
um so we were in a rɛsɪd- residential area. 
<and> um (.) and we were close to central park. 
we visited lots of museums and uh took in most of manhattan pretty much.

um one year we were stationed here.
and we /meg/ a trip from home up to the <south> uh (..) x- south entrance to the grand canyon.
