[maybe you could tell me about that field trip to the zoo.] (.) um I went to my sɪs year old uh field trip to x park zoo. um (.) he (.) enjoy the uh field trip finally with me. my son (.) so far a year. I missed whole (.) fil- field trips and field trips my daughter so... [uhuh.] I enjoyed it. finally go to one time. [yeah yeah.] [that's great.] [did you have to um provide a lot of assistance with the kids in the class?] um (.) some of x... only my sister and my niece (..) um and my nephew all went together. so the teacher know about my stroke. so let me just walk wɪ- with just my son (.) with us instead I have a group yet. [mhm.] so too hard yet to care um more kids than ones I have. [laughs] [yeah yeah.] [exactly exactly.] [and have you guys...] [have you been to the zoo before?] um (.) not before the stroke. [mhm.] <ɪs> ɪs the first time since. [oh good uhuh.] [and your son enjoyed the field trip?] yes. [aw that's great that's great.] [what um what are your kids into these days?] um (..) love to swim. um (...) maybe uh watching tv play outside (.) and um a lot of uh (.) football and soccer kickball... tryin' to keep əm (.) uh xx uh football... (.) um (.) used to be able to throw the ball really good. [mhm.] but I traɪənə learn how to do it with the opposite hand. cause I can't use right hand. (.) n- not good. [shakes head] [uhuh.] but I learning over to use the left hand. so x good. [mhm.] but it's... [laughs] [yepp yepp.] [but he probably appreciates just having someone to throw the ball around with.] yeah. [oh that's great.] [so he really likes football...] yeah. [and swimming and aw...] and soccer. [oh wow.] [busy busy boy.] yeah. [and then your daughter is...] uh s- uh n- nine year old. sh- ... [and what's she into?] she into um (.) dancing and singing... [mhm.] um she's like a tomboy. [oh.] so same thing. uh uh playing soccer... but I told her you have to uh able to throw a football. cause uh you gotta do it. [shrugs shoulders] [laughs] [yepp yepp exactly.] [that's great that she's a tomboy so they can...] yeah. [nods] play. [and that they're both into similar things.] [aw that's great.] [um what other things have you been doin' um with your time?] um traɪənə cook. uh (..) it takes a long time. cause I right handed. so I had to learn use the left hand. [m: ...] so hard traɪənə hold the handle for the pan and try- tryin' to flip over something or stir it with opposite. [yeah.] so every- everything's complete different before. [mhm mhm I bet I bet mhm.] [so relearning a lot of those things.] complete different. [mhm but you like to cook?] I miss cooking so much. [oh.] I miss cooking. [yeah aw well that's good then that you're doin' it.] yeah. [nods] [that's great.] [well good.] [and um you're still living with your mom?] yes. [nods] [yeah and that's goin' okay?] yes.
