[would you wanna tell me about your first job?] um my first job... um (..) oh I was teenager. [uhuh.] um (..) I went to (.) um a program to (.) um help build a (.) garden. [oh.] on (.) a (..) um around [REDACTED]. [okay.] um (..) that one. but uh first one I really like was uh to nursing. I worked for the um disable. and (..) um it x everything. it was... they are... and um uh (..) um (.) I got to uh (.) nursing. and (.) um (.) I went to my xxxxxx. and it (.) is good in the hospitals fine. but I enjoyed um nursing home. cause they're the ones need love. [mhm.] a lot of families um sometimes never come. or... so it's uh... enjoyed help əm and get ready... [uhuh.] [that's great.] [that's great.] [and I find that the elderly are just so sweet. they are. [and so wise.] yeah. [nods] I love their stories. [mhm.] I love their stories. [mhm.] [so you worked in a nursing home in tuscon?] I work at um in my x- xx [distorted] at uh U M C (.) for my uh P C T. um I work um (.) uh care giver for um uh the government um disable. and uh (.) then uh nursing home in tuscon also. [mhm mhm that's great.] [yeah.] [um let's see um what else did you like about being in that medical field?] um (...) uh ɛvri- ɛvrisɪng. um I worked every shift. um sixteen hours twelve aʊ- hours. um but you go there. and you get əm ready in the morning. and you know take time. you help əm. and (..) um (.) not them able to put their makeup on or a dress. always spends um good care of them. [mhm.] and families always um pull me off my floor. go take care of their mom or dad. [hm...] so it was really good. I have patience for always have been.
