Corpus Description: Participants with brain damage

Aim of the project: The main objective of this longitudinal project is to document the evolution of speech skills following a stroke, and to identify whether these measures can predict long-term language recovery. To this end, thirty (30) patients with stroke in the hyperacute phase will be recruited and undergo language assessments in four phases post-stroke (< 24 hours, 48 – 72 hours, 9 – 14 days, 3 months and > 6 months post-stroke). -stroke). Thirty (30) people with aphasia in the chronic phase (> 6 months post-stroke) will also be evaluated and will constitute a control group.
